Krista Stone, MSW, built her social-work career from the ground up. Her first major professional chapter was roughly 8½ years with Catalyst Domestic Violence Services, providing case management in domestic-violence services before beginning what became an approximately two-decade career with Butte County Children’s Services Division (CSD). At CSD she advanced into senior supervisory leadership and also ran Options for Recovery. She has concurrently worked as a social worker at Enloe Hospital. Her counseling history includes roughly a decade with Chris Cox Counseling, where she was the practice’s first employee, helped recruit clinicians, and performed substantial group-counseling work during her ACSW years.
